Mr. Terence Bavon Minishi is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the Bar in 2011.

He is a specialist in Media Law, Antitrust Law, Contract Law, Commercial Law, Employment and Labor relations Law, Public Sector Law, Regulatory Compliance, and general corporate governance practices.

Terence holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Moi University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is also a Certified professional Mediator. He has undergone the Senior Management Program (Kenya School of Government), Corporate Governance training (Centre of Corporate Governance), and several professional trainings and certifications including Legal and Governance audit, Mediation, Trial Advocacy from various institutions.

He currently serves as the Manger, Regulatory Affairs at the Media Council of Kenya (MCK), where he is charged with ensuring compliance with the Media Council Act No.46 of 2013, reviewing legislation, and proposing amendments as well as assisting in board secretarial functions.

Terence has an interest in regulatory compliance and policy development. He has horned his regulatory compliance skills over the years having worked in the enforcement and compliance divisions of the Capital Markets Authority and Competition Authority of Kenya. He has participated in Policy and Law development in the Retail, Media, and Telecommunications Sectors, having been appointed as a member of various taskforces.
