In 2010, the Commission received 44 complaints. Of these, 3 complaints were by the Press against Government authorities for violating press freedom and 41 complaints were by members of the public against the media for breaching the Code of Ethics for the Practice of Journalism.

In 2011, 23 complaints have so far been lodged with the Commission and are at various stages of determination.
